New Project Signed

Project Title: AI Technologies for Enhancing Capabilities, Greater Efficiency and Effectiveness for Customs (Custom AI)

Within the scope of the European Union’s Horizon Europe Programme, BYS Group has become one of the partners in this newly launched project. The consortium consists of 20 partners, including research institutions, SMEs, and customs/industry stakeholders from eight European countries.

The purpose of the Custom AI project is to enhance security and efficiency in customs operations at airports, seaports, and similar border-control environments. To achieve this, innovative artificial intelligence solutions will be developed across the entire operational chain — from data acquisition to risk analytics, and from targeting and control procedures to secure data sharing.

The project officially commenced with the grant agreement signed in October 2025 and will run for a duration of 36 months.
