Empowering Europe's Green Future: BYS Grup Joins the REPAM Project

The REPAM project – “Resource Efficient Materials for Additive Manufacturing” – is an ambitious Research and Innovation Action (RIA) under the Horizon Europe programme. It aims to revolutionize additive manufacturing (AM) by developing circular, sustainable solutions across the entire AM material lifecycle. The project is funded under the call HORIZON-CL4-2024-TWIN-TRANSITION-01-41, which seeks breakthroughs to improve resource efficiency in the process industry through the Processes4Planet partnership.

At its core, REPAM addresses critical challenges facing the AM industry today: the lack of sustainable feedstock materials, low-yield and energy-intensive powder production methods, and insufficient recycling and reuse mechanisms. By uniting 13 expert partners across Europe, the project aims to establish a fully circular, resource-efficient AM value chain — from novel materials design to manufacturing, real-time process optimization, and innovative recycling techniques.

BYS Grup is proud to be part of this transformative initiative. As a key partner in Work Packages 1 and 2, BYS Grup supports project coordination and the implementation of effective project management frameworks. In addition, BYS plays an active role in communication and dissemination tasks to ensure that REPAM’s outcomes are widely shared and leveraged across the European industrial ecosystem.
